Yoga Practice for “Purification”

Writer's picture: AdminAdmin

Today I would like to share a short (20 minute) Yoga practice with you from our "Divine Truth" series. This practice focuses on the third and fourth Niyamas – Tapas and Svadhyaya. In its purest form, the Niyamas are inner observances, intended to help us build character. Tapas refers to Self-Discipline and Svadhyaya is the act of Self-Study.

Tapas also translates to "purification through discipline," "commitment," or "internal fire." So we’ll be stoking our inner fire today in our practice. Through discipline we can burn away impurities and spark the divinity in each of us.

Let’s do YOGA!

Namaste!
